"Bangabandhu" Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (Mar 17, 1920 - Aug 15, 1975) is the founding father of independent Bangladesh. If there is one person who is intertwined with everything "Bangladesh," it is this person. Center for Bangladesh Genocide Research (CBGR) solemnly remembers the contribution of this great man on the anniversary of his death. 

The following songs were created about Bangabandhu. Of this diverse list, the most noteable one is the song sung by Rathidranath Roy after Bangabandhu and his family (15 members) were assassinated on Aug 15, 1975.
